Some of my earliest memories are of being completely captivated by music—not simply because of the sound, but because of the places it could take me.
As a little girl, when I first heard the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, something changed me. It wasn’t just the music that captured my imagination. It was the atmosphere, the emotion, and the feelings...everything that it so vividly painted in my mind, without literally seeing it with my eyes.
That feeling has never left me.
My journey has taken me from New Zealand to the United States, performing music that spans classical crossover, Italian opera, musical theatre, dinner cabaret, vintage jazz, French chanson, and timeless songs that continue to inspire me.
Through every performance, one belief has remained constant:
Music is at its most powerful when it tells a story.
I’ve never believed a performance should simply be a collection of songs. Every concert I create is intended to be an experience—one where atmosphere, storytelling, and music come together to transport audiences somewhere beyond the everyday.
The greatest compliment I can receive isn’t about my voice.
It’s hearing someone say they forgot where they were for a little while.
That they felt something.
That a song stayed with them long after the final note had faded.
Those moments are why I continue to sing.
